We seek help with:

  • Research
  • Creating photo essays and exhibits
  • Setting up learning cooperatives
  • Organizing an upcoming educational convention on the public schooling of African-American youth in Georgia and Alabama

2009 SpiritHouse Intern Profile:

Alison Jones
Alison Jones, summer 2009 intern for the SpiritHouse Project, is a leader and high achiever at LaGrange College. A senior at LaGrange College, Alison majors in Religion and Philosophy, with a double concentration in history and sociology. While serving on the Executive Council for Student Government, Alison was president of the Service Council from 2007-2009. Additionally, Alison serves as a Resident Advisor and a Servant-Leader. She is also a member of Theta Alpha Kappa, the national religion honor society, and Omicron Delta Kappa, the national leadership honor society.
